Dear bidder, The International Labor Office (ILO) is looking for a person to carry out work as an External Collaborator: Invites qualified consultants to submit their application to prepare a proposal to adapt the Program Set “Transition to the formal economy with emphasis on increasing productivity and improving working conditions in the prioritized economic sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean” to the context of Panama, under a focus on environmental sustainability and inclusion. The consultancy aims to support the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL) and the social partners in the mobilization of resources to finance the Joint Program in Panama. The initiative is framed in the Formalization Strategy for Latin America and the Caribbean 2024-2030 (FORLAC 2.0) and in the Resolution on the just transition towards environmentally sustainable economies and societies for all, and is based on the main findings of the ILO on productivity, formalization and just transition. It also responds to the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Panama aimed at promoting sectors that contribute to carbon neutrality towards 2035.
