Consultancy for Analytical Products for Building Institutional Capacity for Climate and Multi-Hazard Risk Resilience Approach in Highly Vulnerable Bridge Infrastructure Management in Costa Rica. This Consultancy Aims to Strengthen Costa Ricas Capacities for Resilient and Comprehensive Management of its Bridges Network, Especially Those with the Highest Levels of Vulnerability to Disaster Risk and Climate Change. Task 1: Roadmap for Safer Bridges. To Help the Wb Staff Identify Entry Points for Bank Support (Financing, Policy Reform, Advisory Services) to the Transportation Sector that Facilitate the Design and Implementation of Safer Bridge Programs. -to Influence Policy Reforms and Wider Investments in Risk Reduction that Create Safer Bridges and Transportation Networks. -to Inform Long-Term National Policies and Strategies that Prioritize Safety at Scale and that Relate to Previous and Ongoing Activities in the Sector. Task 2: Will Focus on Implementing Part of the Steps Proposed in the Roadmap in Cr: -Assessment of Institutional Capacities and Constraints for Resilient Management of the Bridge Portfolio in Cr -Recommend a Multi-Hazard Disaster Risk Analysis Methodology
